PALEY CENTER’S YABBA DABBA DOO!

A 70th ANNIVERSARY SALUTE TO HANNA-BARBERA

For the 70th Anniversary celebrating the partnership of Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera, I decided to take on the overwhelming task of putting together a reunion.  With no money. During the recession.

But it had to be done and done right.  Thus began my labor of love.

After a slew of phone calls, hundreds of emails, helpful alum with much-needed contact information, the talents of Iraj Paran, the guidance of Carlton Clay, and a number of gracious donors, I was able to curate an exhibit, put together a discussion panel, and gather over 300 alumni of the Hanna-Barbera Studios at the Paley Center For Media on Saturday, August 22, 2010.
