That’s Entertainment!

Suzy, Mama, and Donny Osmond create an evening of storytelling when the TV is found broken on TV night.

Writer: Van Partible

Cast: Jeff Bennett, Brenda Vaccaro, Mae Whitman, Donny Osmond, Lea Salonga

If I had to choose one episode as my favorite, this would be it.  It was Johnny Bravo at it’s purest because it got to showcase all of the leads and get into their heads.  I also think it was a great story to showcase the talent of our storyboard artist, Vaughn Tada.  To do a storyboard in all the different styles and nail every single one was a testament to his knowledge of the medium.  Plus, we got to bring Donny Osmond back, which made it sort of a “Mulan” reunion since we had Lea Salonga in the cast as well.

Non, Oui, Oui Pour Johnny

Johnny and Mama enlist in a French class after Mama decides that they’re going to vacation in Paris, France.

Writer: Amy Rogers

Cast: Jeff Bennett, Brenda Vaccaro, Billy West

I consulted with writer and storyboard artist Dave Smith, who wrote the Dexter’s Laboratory episode “Omelet Du Fomage” on this episode because he’s the only person in the studio that knew French.
